Silent Memories Photography
In 2012, I co-founded Silent Memories Photography alongside my mother, turning our shared passion for photography into a thriving local business. Over the years, we captured everything from senior portraits and weddings to landscapes, family sessions, and special events. To help grow the business and provide a seamless experience for our clients, I designed and developed the official Silent Memories Photography website.
The site served as a central hub for showcasing our work and connecting with clients. It featured beautifully organized galleries, a secure login and proofing system where clients could view and purchase their photos, and helpful information for seniors, wedding parties, and other photography clients preparing for their sessions. By combining elegant design with functionality, the website became an integral part of the business’s success and helped us build a loyal customer base.
Although Silent Memories Photography closed in 2019 as we moved on to new opportunities, the experience holds a special place in my journey. Designing and maintaining the website not only strengthened my technical and creative skills but also gave me invaluable insight into branding, user experience, and running a business. Beyond the work itself, it left us with great memories and a sense of pride in what we built together.
